During this trip you will enjoy the best dives in three of Canary Islands: La Graciosa, Lanzarote y Fuerteventura.

Graciosa Dive
Las Cañas
This is the only dive that can be done without permission because it is located just outside the boundary of the area declared a reserve. It is south of La Graciosa and north of the cliffs of Famara, Lanzarote Island. It is also very shallow and usually there are not many strong currents, so it is suitable for any level.
It is a volcanic reef sitting on a sandy bottom at 18m depth. We will anchor on the upper part, but only about 6m. It has a great and vast cavernous complex that crosses the reef from side to side, and inside there are thousands of snoring fish that will surround the divers. Divers will be stunned by the beauty of the contrasts of light and the sensation of diving into an authentic aquarium. On the outside one can see excellent examples of gorgonians.
Veril de Las Anclas y Roncadera (The Ridges of Las Anclas y Roncadera)
There is a ridge on “El Río”, the strait between the island of Lanzarote and Graciosa, with lots of life and where you can see the remains of ancient anchors, fully entrenched in the sea bottom, made from a type of sandstone. It is usual to find some currents, but only during the descent. Once at the bottom (22m), a wall will protect us from any currents. The sea is almost always protected well in this area, and we will almost always be able to do this dive.
One area of this ridge has a population of snoring fish literally flooding the canyons and passages of rock formations on the bottom of the sea, giving this place a magical look.
Bajón de Alegranza
This dive requires more time for navigation than any other. It is also the deepest, in some places exceeding more than 30 meters. In this area we can spot pelagic, such as large schools of barracuda and large amberjacks. Jacks (or horse mackerel?), abbots and groupers, that are hiding away in secret passages in this fragmented rocky ridge, are the most common scenes in this dive.
After this dive, you can visit the uninhabited island of Alegranza. You can go swimming through a strange cave that will eventually lead you to a beach. The collapsed roof (that is why it is called “jameo”) makes a small opening to allow lighting threw.
El Burrera
Similar to “Las Anclas” and between 20 and 25 meters, “El Burrera” is between La Graciosa and Montaña Clara. The wall protects us from the current, which is very usual here and should be taken into account during the descent. The sandstone wall has eroded to create very unique forms that made the passageways that we will be going through and that will make us have the feeling we are diving into an authentic aquarium.
DIVING IN LANZAROTE
DIVES IN PORT CARMEN
La Catedral (The cathedral)
The Cathedral is a natural cave that goes deep into the ridge forming a large volcanic dome of majestic dimensions. It is very popular with divers because it offers a good experience. In it we will see a diverse range of sponges, spider crabs, groupers, moray eels and angel sharks. We may also see yellow and black coral gorgonians (45 meters). Barcos hundidos (Ship Wrecks)
In the '80s the sardine fishing fleet of Lanzarote was dismantled and turned into wrecks in these deep reserves. A group from the divers club, Avalon, thought of turning these boats into a place where fish and plants naturally live in but at affordable levels for recreational. Once the permits and were obtained and they were allowed to freely act, pollutants were produced in the wreck. The area chosen was given the name, “Parque subacuático de los Erizos (the Hedgehog Underwater Park)” even though today it is still known.
It is a popular spot for divers and is also ideal for all levels of diving with depths from 18 to 40 meters, and you can even get to it from boat or ground. There are six wooden boats located opposite the small village of Puerto del Carmen which rest on the bottom. Schools of barracuda are abundant here, and so are angel sharks, galanas, sea breams, damselfish, amberjacks and many other tropical fish.
El ojo azul (The blue eye)
This is a magnificent volcanic tunnel (short but wide) that will allow us to enter and go to places never before imagined. You will surely notice the many eyes that are focused on all the divers, and, if you look closely enough, you'll find angel sharks (Angelotes) buried in the sand awaiting their daily food.
You can enter from Playa Chica(Beach Chica) in Puerto del Carmen from where you can dive very deep until reaching the mouth of the blue hole (agujero azul) (23 meters), we will go to 30 meters and then visit several caves where there are millions of live shrimp, some groupers, stingrays... In there we will find schools of amberjacks, tuna, grouper, barracuda, damselfish, trumpet fish....
El champiñon (The mushrooms)
There are several arches and covered galleries with anemones of various colors, and you can enjoy the company of many groupers, trumpet fish, moray eels and above all the beautiful and amazing figures of the lava rock that was left to solidify. The depths ranges from 18 to 40 meters and it is accessible by boat from Puerto del Carmen. Perfect for experienced divers.
DIVING IN PLAYA BLANCA (White Beach)
The emissary
We start from sewage pipes that are out of use, leaving from Playa Blanca (White Beach) to dive into the ocean. This is a lively place where the depth varies between 14 and 22 meters. You can see groupers, scorpion fish, octopus and even the occasional angel shark here.
Pechiguera
Located in Playa del Carmen, on the most southern tip of the island, it is just beside the lighthouse with the same name. It has a wall that drops from 22 to 60 meters.
Enjoy the trip watching the volcanic landscape from in and out of water. With a fairly strong current, it is a dive for the more adventurous. You can see large groups of haddock, tuna, barracuda and, with some luck, hammerhead sharks.
DIVES IN FUERTEVENTURA
DIVING ON LOBOS ISLAND
Burro y montaña roja (Donkey and Red Mountain)
Small rivers of lava flow from land to sea. Due to the good visibility that is here, it is ideal for photography. A little farther from the coast, the sandy bottom falls from 10 to 40 meters. Here you will find black coral, pelagic fish, triggerfish, and sea anemones.
Anclas (Anchors)
We will free fall dive for up to 20 meters here, where the wall starts, falling to 30 meters. This spot is named after very large anchors that we will see here, and that used to be used by an Admiral. We will spot groupers, turtles, tuna, sea eagles and sardines during the dive.
Calamareo
Here, there is a basaltic volcanic rock ridge about 14 meters deep and a vertical wall that drops to about 25 meters forming canyons and arches. In the holes of the rocks and the walls we will be able to see barracudas, stingrays, angelfish, striped butterfly, scorpion fish, and sea anemones.
Fuerteventura
Marrajo
This reef consists of two lava beds on a sandy bottom between 7 and 15 meters deep. You can see groupers, abbots, parrotfish (vieja) moray eels, and octopus.
Bajón del río
At the bottom of this reef there are loose rocks mixed with mushroom-shaped volcanic rocks up to 10 meters high. Under these mushrooms are groupers, black sea breams, trumpet fish, sea breams, pejeperros, triggerfish, and schools of barracudas. The depth ranges from 14 to 18 meters.
(Agujas) Needles
These are volcanic formations with ----(chimeneas?), small canyons, arches and a natural arch. Since we are in the middle of the channel, the currents are frequent. From 7-15 meters we can find groupers, parrot fish, catfish, stingrays and barracudas.
REEF DIVES IN ARRECIFE SALINAS
(El taraza) The Tarzan
Located at the edge of the reef, it has a depth between 12 and 35 meters. You can see large schools of damsels and big groups of barracudas. In the rocks are hidden groupers, parrot fish, flat-bottomed fish and garden eels. The black treasure

La pirámide (The pyramid)
This is between 14 and 39 meters on the edge of the reef. Young groups of groupers and abbots meet at 25 meters. It is common to see some turtles too. And on the sandy bottom there the biggest stingrays found in the area.
El laberinto (The Labyrinth)
Between 12 and 38 meters. It is common to see barracudas, bonitos (tuna fish), angel sharks and with a little luck, hammerhead sharks on the surface. At the edge of reef, it is common to find large schools of bogas, large pelagic food.
DIVES IN MORRO JABLE
El Chupadero
Located in la Cala de la Lajita, this is one of the most recommended places for night dives. There are two possible dives:
Parallel to the beach, we can tour the reef that has lots of stones and holes that harbor almost all species of sea urchins, sea breams, castanets, green fish, parrotfish, mullet rock. Turtles, angel sharks and stingrays are occasionally seen. With 10 meters being as deep as it gets, is ideal for divers of all levels.
